Bukit Peninsula, Bali

Just got back from Bingin Beach on the Bukit Peninsula which has got to be the greatest place for surfing on earth! A large number of classic breaks w/ consistent swell located in a small area. You can get to any break, for the most part, in 5-10 mins on a Moto Bike (main form of transportation around here). Again, a lot of them are out of my league lol, but still had a great time and got into some fun waves too. Also, checked out the temple in Ulu Watu, which is build on a huge cliff jutting out into the water…really amazing site, though the actual temple structure isn’t that impressive.

So, now I’m back in Kuta for my 3rd time and head out to Bankok tomorrow! …trip is winding down but I’m trying to get the most out of my last remaining days. I have a bit less than a week in Thailand so I’ll probably shoot over to Chiang Mai or Ankor Wat (Cambodia)…we’ll see.

Impossibles Impossibles Bingin
big waves! Dreamland off in the distance
HUGE! and in my room lol like shallow reef breaks? check out the guy on the left (about knee deep!)
more shallow reef (guy on right!) jack fruit, yum!

Beautiful sunset photos! The monkey is a bit creepy in your earlier posts but makes for nice photos. I would definitely recommend going to Angkor Wat over Chiang Mai. It’s more impressive and slowly being damaged with the influx of tourists who want to touch the carvings. I know. How can they be so dumb?
