Bogota, Colombia - First Thoughts

Great city, I loved it here almost immediatly! Old spanish colonial style architecture collides w/ modern buildings and all are surrounded by beautiful green mountains. It’s pretty chilly at night, maybe around 55 degrees F…need pants, undershirt, long sleeve shirt and a light jacket. Having said that, the sun is very strong, got a bit of a sunburn yesterday!

Also, to note, it’s a fun place to walk around and fairly safe. I’m staying in Cento in La Candaleria area. Lots of little bars and restaurants.

Check out pics and more to come!

Old and new architecture sopa con pollo y arroz y aguacate steak was too tough for Eiling!
